do I join?
Membership in Siskiyou
Singers is by audition and is granted at the sole discretion of the music
director.
Auditions are held
the first day of every term. For information regarding the next audition,
please contact us at the phone number or email address below.
Participation in
small groups and solo performances are the music director's choice and
may or may not involve a special audition. Soloists are customarily chosen
from choir members, but the director may deviate from this policy as he
wishes.
Fees:
Each member pays
a $20 fee per quarter to the Siskiyou Singers. Part of the fee goes to
our listing in Continuing Education at SOU. The remainder of the fee goes
to defray the costs of producing the concerts.
An additional fee
of $10 is charged to pay for music. You may keep your music, or return
it to our library. The fee must be paid in either case. There are no exceptions.
All fees are due in full by the third rehearsal of each quarter. If you
cannot meet this obligation, it is your responsibility to make other arrangements
with the treasurer prior to this deadline.
